Completed Projects
2006- We put in borehole and pump and finished all stages at our first Green Communtiy Hub in Carisbrooke. We included student volunteers. Greenhouse seedling program started.
A task force was created for the district. A buy in from the board of education helped us to form a task force so that we could move forward to create more hubs.
2007- HOW Global is a registered non profit organization
2008 -- We complete the install of a water pump at the Isulabasha Primary school in the Ugu district KNZ.
2009- We add an HIV hub onto our list and bring on partners to install water sinks , flushing toilet.
We assist with restrooms for our pre-school partner in Ghana.
2010- Umgeni Water comes on as a partner. As the second biggest water company in SA they agree
to fund the biggest project of our proposed Green Hub at the Mariathal Mission school of 1200
students. 2010 brought for 3 additional water projects to be completed.

Other notes of progress- in many of these cases other non profits or partners took
part in making these dreams come true.
- The first Green Hub at Carisbrooke wins the National Garden award in SA
- Computers are donated to the Carisbrooke school
- 50 students from the UK visit the Green Hubs in Sisonke in July 2010
- 2000 lifestraws were donated to schools in waiting.
- Hillcrest High school in suburban KZN continues to collect supplies for our hubs.
- Earth Mural was displayed at a United Nations Conference as it travels the globe.
- All Green Hubs clean up properties, paint school walls
- Umgodi Primary school gets electric installed.
