Earth Murals
Background of Earth Murals
HOW Global believes that art can open the heARTs of both children and adults.
We use handprint art to raise awareness and to teach lessons of
environmental issues and global peace. Most of our work is on 5 to 10
feet long cloth canvas so that we may fold them up and carry them
for display. This art helps us to tell stories of the environment and also
we use this program to inspire exchange programs that promote
respect and understanding of others.
Our hand prints symbolize that we are putting our human mark on
a canvas that will be viewed by many to show that our hands can
make a difference.
Many of our murals are displayed in schools around the world and recently
have been displayed at a United Nations youth conference. Over 50 of
our murals have been donated to the Art Miles project which connected
hundreds of murals from around the world together to create one
canvas that was wrapped around the pyrminds of Egypt in September of 2010.
We continue to support the mission of the Art Miles project as it has promoted
world peace.
Have a heART and join us today in creating art for a community in need or
create a canvas or poster that can help you promote kindness that relates
to the earths land and most importantly.... to inspire respect of each other.
Art can help us to build bridges and connect to each other.
Art can give voice to the forgotten child.
As we know, a picture can paint a thousand words.
